Be advised on the 15.07.2025 GitLab will move to the next Major Release Version! User utilising GitLabs built in registry are requested to verify that their personal access token used to login to the registry has the following two options selected: read_registry and write_registry! If your token does not have these set, create a new one or you won't be able to authenticate against the registry!

Project Owners and Maintainers using the GitLab CI/CD are requested to verify their Job Tokens project and group access level see here: https://docs.gitlab.com/ci/jobs/ci_job_token/#add-a-group-or-project-to-the-job-token-allowlist. With GitLab major version 18 this setting will be enforced and Tokens which have not been adapted will stop working!
