The macro "\inserttitle" breaks building beamer in article mode

When I use "\inserttitle" in a beamer frame the compilation with option "beamerarticle" article fails. The error msg : "Undefined control sequence."

Should I give a minimal example to reproduce the error. On my point of view it is not defined in this context that's why.
